Boys Latin won against Pallotti last Sunday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Everything went Boys Latin's way against the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings as Boys Latin made off with a 12-1 win. Winning may never get old, but the Lakers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Jonah Stockton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Stockton was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Colton Bordick was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Griffin Kulinski was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Boys Latin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Boys Latin's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Coming up, Boys Latin will be playing at home against Annapolis Area Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Annapolis Area Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67 runs per game on average), something Boys Latin will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they will welcome Bullis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. John's Catholic Prep is facing Bullis at the right time seeing as Bullis is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
