D'Evelyn came out on top against Conifer on Saturday thanks in part to Leo Vigil's efforts. Vigil was dialed in as he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He played a big game the last time he faced Conifer last Wednesday, so the team probably should've seen him coming. Vigil is becoming a predictor of D'Evelyn's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 3-11 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Vigil and D'Evelyn will take on Golden at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 147 places lower in Colorado), but they're not letting that get them down.
