Lowcountry Leadership waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the First Baptist School Hurricanes with a sharp 17-7 victory. Considering the NaviGators have won five matchups by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Harley Winn made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Lowcountry Leadership let Becky Gaskins and Bailee Blome run wild.
