After five games on the road, North Community is heading back home. They will take on the Roosevelt Teddies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, North Community came up short against the Crimson and fell 71-60.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt lost to the Tigers at home by a decisive 74-57 margin on Wednesday. Roosevelt has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Avery Wells, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josiah Alexander, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
North Community has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Everything went North Community's way against the Teddies in their previous meeting back in January as the Polars made off with a 92-67 victory. Will North Community repeat their success, or do the Teddies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
