Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Fremont struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Lincoln Northeast racked up 12.

Washington dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Heeren dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Heeren has scored at least 25% of Lincoln Northeast's points. Another player making a difference was Kiara Phillips, who scored 12 points.
Fremont now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lincoln Northeast, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
