Gholson's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Thomas, who scored six points.
Gholson's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Abbott, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Gholson will be playing at home against Oglesby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Abbott, they will head out on the road to face off against Aquilla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquilla and Abbott are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
