Liberty took a serious blow against River View on Saturday, falling 82-21. Liberty was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.
River View was led to victory by Abigail Pruitt and Kaylee Blankenship. Pruitt scored 28 points along with 3 steals, while Blankenship dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 10 assists, and 13 steals. The matchup was Pruitt's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brooke Fuller, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for River View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
