Basketball Recap: Kaylynn Walls' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mount Pisgah Christian Academy over Rockwood

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy lost against Rockwood back in November of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy fell to the Rockwood Tigers 47-43. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylynn Walls, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most rebounds Walls has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Gracie Wilson, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Rockwood, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Paideia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Rockwood, they will head out to square off against Whitwell at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
