Troi Jackson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season.
