The Louisa County Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Albemarle Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Louisa County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday.
Louisa County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. The contest between Louisa County and Fluvanna County wasn't particularly close, with Louisa County falling 50-34.
Louisa County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Peyton Brady, who scored 11 points along with 5 steals, and Taylor Yeatts who scored 8 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. Brady scored a full 32.4% of Louisa County's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Albemarle was the victim of a tough 49-25 loss at the hands of Western Albemarle on Friday. Albemarle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped Louisa County to 1-4 and Fluvanna County to 2-1.
Louisa County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Albemarle in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory.
