Andrews had a rough outing against Towns County last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Andrews put a hurting on North Georgia to the tune of 49-6. Andrews were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Andrews started the matchup off right with 35 first-half points. North Georgia put up 6, so the score was 35-6 at the half. The Andrews defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The win bumped their record up to 2-3. North Georgia are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Andrews take on Rosman at Rosman High School at 7:30 PM. As for North Georgia, they will face off against Georgia Force Christian. North Georgia come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
