Edgemont is 0-3 against Philip since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Edgemont Moguls' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Philip Scotties at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. Edgemont will be strutting in after a win while Philip will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, it was close, but Edgemont ultimately received the gift of a 36-34 victory from a begrudging Mogulssquad.
Tavian Urban and Hadley Hollenbeck were among the main playmakers for Edgemont as the former scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists and the latter scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Philip, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-37 loss to Kadoka on Thursday. Philip has not had much luck with Kadoka recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
The win got Edgemont back to even at 2-2. As for Philip, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
Edgemont was taken down by Philip 50-10 in their previous meeting back in February of 2016. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Edgemont was down 26-1.
