The biggest upset of the week belonged to Righetti, who took down 125th ranked Atascadero, 31-14. Troy Prober threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
St. Joseph extended the longest winning streak in Pac-7 this week by beating Arroyo Grande, 38-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Curry Parham provided a threat through the air and on the ground as St. Joseph topped the Eagles. He completed 10 passes for 167 yards and also ran for 119 yards. Parham's favorite target this week was Ryan Mediano, who caught three passes for 55 yards.
Taelor Griego was the most productive running back in the league this week. In eight carries, he ran for 128 yards as the Warriors lost to San Luis Obispo. Teammate Kyle Stickler added to the ground attack by rushing for 97 yards.
Yruegas was the best wideout in the league this week as the Panthers fell to the Tigers. Yruegas racked up four receptions for 72 yards. Roddrick Pullen helped Pioneer Valley's passing attack out by catching four balls for 69 yards.
Righetti's Prober and Luke Wilson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Pac-7 in both passing and receiving yards. Prober has thrown for 1543 yards this season, while Wilson, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 42 catches for 597 yards. Jonathan Torres from the Greyhounds leads the league in rushing with 605 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place St. Joseph takes on second place Paso Robles. Dustin Davis' team bested Arroyo Grande last week, while Paso Robles topped Kingsburg.
Gary Wilson's team moved up to 247 from 333 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 31-14 win over Atascadero helped the Warriors improve their standing.
