Charlo added to the longest winning streak in Western C (8 Man) this week by beating Arlee, 56-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Seeley-Swan was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Darby. The Black Hawks came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
Joe Caicedo was a beast in the backfield as the Tigers lost to Seeley-Swan.
Caicedo provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Darby lost to Michele Holmes' team.
Michael Delaney threw for 99 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 13-14 with 0 interceptions.
Bob Immenschuh was a key player and the best on defense this week as Granite beat Superior. The 6-foot-2 junior recorded 1 fumble.
Caicedo was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 36 carries, he ran for 291 yards as Loyd Rennaker's team defeated Drummond. Teammate Garrett McCormack added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Matt Kittel of the Pirates is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,219. He has also thrown 19 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Patrick BigSam. The Arlee star has 35 catches for 546 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between the Bobcats and the Scarlet Warriors. Superior enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while Arlee ranks 21st.
Charlo took down Mike Rogers' team 56-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Delaney ran for 76 yards in the win.
