Tyler Vassey posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 12 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Even though Vassey couldn't lead Seneca over Camden, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Vassey's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bobcats' six-game streak of wins at home.
