Foundation Academy will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Bradenton Christian at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Foundation Academy had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 20-13 victory over Kingdom Prep. No one had a better game by the numbers than junior Henry Austad, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Bradenton Christian had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last week, they came up short against Shorecrest Prep, falling 14-28.
Foundation Academy's win lifted them to 2-0 while Bradenton Christian's loss dropped them down to 0-1. The Foundation Academy defense had it out for the quarterback last game and accrued 6 sacks, so hopefully Bradenton Christian's offensive line has put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the game.
