With a playoff game on the line, the Bolles Bulldogs rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Hornets 34-14. Considering Bolles has won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bolles got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DJ Moore out in front who threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Bolles also got a significant boost from Tyrone Neal, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bolles' defense and their four sacks. Martin Geary was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
The victory (which was Bolles' third in a row) raised their record to 8-5. As for Bishop Moore, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.
Bolles will head out on the road to face off against Norland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Norland will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Bishop Moore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
