The Morgan Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-51 victory over Union. That's another feather in the cap for Morgan, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morgan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keira Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brewer has scored all season. Kaydence Wardell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven steals and six assists.
Morgan's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Union, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-13.
Morgan will take on South Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully South Summit focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday. As for Union, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ogden at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Ogden is ranked 108th, while Union is ranked 107th).
