Carthage extended their postseason success on Friday against Brock. They blew past the Brock Eagles, posting a 45-17 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 14 games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Although Brock took the loss, they still got scores from Jesse Rusinek and Brody Woods.

Carthage's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Brock, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-2.

Carthage and La Vega will compete for holiday cheer at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. La Vega knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Carthage likes a good challenge. Brock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
