The Pen Argyl Green Knights suffered their biggest loss since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 66-34 loss at the hands of Southern Lehigh. Pen Argyl has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pen Argyl lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mason Soos, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Kennedy, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Pen Argyl bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Southern Lehigh, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pen Argyl will take on Salisbury Township at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Southern Lehigh, they will be playing at home against Northern Lehigh at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Lehigh has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 258 points over their last four games.
