It was a good run, but The MacArthur Generals unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. Their tough 36-14 defeat to Metamora might stick with them for a while. The contest was a close 15-14 at the break, but unfortunately for MacArthur it sure didn't stay that way.
Metamora was led to victory by Jaiduan Cranford and Nick Rhoades. Cranford rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, while Rhoades rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Cranford is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. Metamora also got a significant boost from Evan Keil, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 90 yards.
MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Metamora, their win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2.
MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Metamora also has no future games currently scheduled.
