Clearview scaled the state rankings by moving to 113 from 145 this week, the biggest jump in West Jersey - National. The Pioneers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Pennsauken 21-12.
Kingsway was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Dragons defeated Winslow Township 46-12.
The Indians' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyee White threw for 184 and 2 touchdowns and Edward Holmes had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Marquan Jones chipped in 49 yards. Kyree Thomas helped Pennsauken's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 67 yards.
He went 13-30 with 3 interceptions.
Holmes was the best receiver in the league this week as Pennsauken lost to Clearview. Holmes racked up 2 receptions for 66 yards. Thomas helped Pennsauken's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 67 yards.
Clinton Tabb III's team's White and Holmes have formed a dream team this season, leading West Jersey - National in both passing and receiving yards. White has thrown for 421 yards this season, while Holmes, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 5 catches for 125 yards. DiOrio Anthony from Shawnee leads the league in rushing with 247 yards.
The Eagles lost to Kingsway 46-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
