Kimberly Tabarez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Westhope/Newburg, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Tabarez pulled down eight or more rebounds. Ashley Tabarez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Drake/Anamoose has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Westhope/Newburg, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11.
Drake/Anamoose will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. As for Westhope/Newburg, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Harvey at 5:45 p.m.
