Cano Posts Huge Game in 39-21 Loss
Starting off the list is Lexington's Cesar Cano, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cano rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 56 yards.

Gering found a leader in Rece Knight as the squad took down Lexington on Friday. Knight was dynamite, throwing for 248 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes, and also rushing for 47 yards.
For the season, Knight has thrown 11 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 114.1 passing yards per game.

Desmonde Smith Makes It Two for Scottsbluff
