Marana's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-8. As for Tucson High Magnet School, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-8.
Marana will head out on the road to square off against Rincon/University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marana knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 contests -- so hopefully Rincon/University likes a good challenge. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they will head out to take on Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tucson High Magnet School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
