Make it ten blowout wins for the Jesuit Tigers this season. They blew past Seffner Christian 77-46 at home on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for Jesuit as they're now sitting on four straight.
Jesuit had a senior duo take command as Christopher Moliere scored 20 points along with four steals and Nate Boakye scored 15 points along with three steals. Boakye has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times he's played. Jack Burkard was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Jesuit's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Seffner Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.
Jesuit has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. One thing working in Tampa Catholic's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Seffner Christian, they will take on the Bulldogs at TBD on Tuesday.
