Orange has gone a perfect 10-0 against Eastern Alamance recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Orange put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. They never let J.F. Webb get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on five straight.
Ryan Sawyer tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kayden Bradsher and Oliver Van Tiem did most of the damage at the plate: Bradsher got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI, while Van Tiem went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Van Tiem a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Allen Flores, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
Orange kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eastern Alamance, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Bethany Community 16-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13, 2025 (when they won 17-2).
Orange's record now sits at 13-7. As for Eastern Alamance, their record is now 8-10.
Orange was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastern Alamance in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
