Kinkaid proved they can win big  on Thursday (they won by eight) but  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-4  win over the Houston Christian Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kinkaid also won the last time the pair played  back in March.
  Abby Woo was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Houston Christian's side,  Riley Warnica was cooking despite her team's loss,   getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  MC Been, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 The  victory  got Kinkaid back to even at 13-13. As for Houston Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.
 As of now, neither Kinkaid nor Houston Christian have any future games scheduled.
