Given O'Connor's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while TMI-Episcopal is ranked 473rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
O'Connor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristyn White led the charge by scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Julian Barron was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
O'Connor's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for TMI-Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
O'Connor's road trip will continue as they head out to face Clemens at 11:00 a.m. on December 2nd. One thing working in Clemens' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
