After losing to the Happy Cowboys the last time they met, the Springlake-Earth Wolverines decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Springlake-Earth walked away with a 60-47 victory over the Cowboys on Tuesday.
Jj Jaramillo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last six games he's played. Isaiah Tovar was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Springlake-Earth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Happy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13.
Springlake-Earth will take on the Longhorns at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Happy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Kangaroos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kress is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
