Apalachee posted their closest win since September 24, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Walnut Grove Warriors 2-1. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Apalachee back to even at 2-2. As for Walnut Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
