It was a proper cat-fight when Knightstown challenged Greenwood Christian Academy on Monday. The Panthers were the clear victors by  an  11-4 margin over the Cougars. The Panthers not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since May 13, 2024.
 Andrew Buchanan and  Henry Schmidt dominated on the mound. Buchanan  pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits, while  Schmidt  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side, Knightstown got a big performance out of  Jackson Daves, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kelton Weaver, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.

 Knightstown  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in April of 2024.
Knightstown has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knightstown will take on Eastern Hancock at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to  face off against Morristown  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
