It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Buena Colts can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Buena couldn't push the score so high this time.

Buena has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Sunrise Mountain, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4-2.
Buena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will head out on the road to take on Metro Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Metro Tech is on a six-game streak of home wins, Sunrise Mountain a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
