Kennedy will look to defend their home turf on Thursday against Prairie at 7:15 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
After soaring high against Linn-Mar two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground last Friday. Kennedy took a serious blow against Valley, falling 0-42.
Meanwhile, Prairie found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-33 punch to the gut against Waukee.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
