Last Friday, Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS came up short against Hampton-Dumont/Cal, falling 26-33.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot point totals in their last 3 games, Southeast Valley fizzled out. They took a serious blow against South Central Calhoun, falling 6-49. The low total for Southeast Valley limited their streak of high-flying scores to 3 in a row.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
