Ethan DeJesus gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Sumner is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-8 otherwise.
