The Destiny Christian Academy Lions will take on the Orestimba Warriors at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Destiny Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They blew past Mariposa County 32-12. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous   game.
 Destiny Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over.  Willow Sandry led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by herself.  Mckayla Fulmer got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Orestimba entered their tilt with Gridley on Wednesday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of  35-6. Given the Warriors' advantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 446th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
 The critical scores for Orestimba came from  Imelda Beltran-Pelayo,  Madelyn Perez,  Salece Machado,  Marian Quevedo,  and  Natalie Corella.
 Destiny Christian Academy's record is now 15-9. As for Orestimba, their record now sits at 23-2.
