Three Rivers recap Oct. 9, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tippecanoe Valley, who took down 118th ranked Tippecanoe Valley, 12-7.
Rochester and Whitko played the most hotly contested game in Three Rivers this week, with Rochester eventually emerging with a 20-17 victory.
Tippecanoe Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ben Shriver has thrown for 1122 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Tanner Andrews has 32 catches for 640 yards. Justin Gunter leads the league in rushing with 446 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when North Miami takes on the Zebras. As it stands, the Warriors are in second, while Rochester is in third.
Manchester led Three Rivers in scoring this week after putting up 32 points on Wabash.
