Thrall proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lexington Eagles 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-3 last Tuesday.

Thrall's victory bumped their record up to 23-5-1. As for Lexington, they dropped their record down to 12-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Thrall will head out to face off against Rockdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thrall is facing Rockdale at the right time seeing as Rockdale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lexington, they will welcome Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rogers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Lexington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
