If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Destiny Christian. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Wright Christian at 7:00 PM. Destiny Christian will be hoping to build upon the 64-14 win they picked up against Wright Christian the last time they played.
After having lost a blowout to Shattuck in their previous matchup, Destiny Christian were happy to find some success last week. Destiny Christian were the clear victor by a 34-8 margin over Arkansas Christian Academy. Senior Adam Hill was the offensive standout of the match for Destiny Christian, as he rushed for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, if Wright Christian were riding high off their 58-24 takedown of Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Wright Christian found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 3-28 punch to the gut against Graham/Dustin.
Destiny Christian's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Wright Christian's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Destiny Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if Wright Christian can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Destiny Christian's step.
