Despite the loss, Woodsboro still got an impressive performance from Jordan Zena, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Amarian Zambezi, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Odem's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13. As for Woodsboro, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
Odem will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mathis at 7:30 p.m. Mathis is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Woodsboro, they will head out on the road to face off against Port Aransas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
