Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wynford). They were the clear victors by a 22-3 margin over the Bucyrus Redmen on Wednesday. With that victory, the Royals brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Jackson Rayborn was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Landon Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Wynford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Wynford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Bucyrus, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Wynford will square off against New Riegel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bucyrus, they will face off against Mansfield Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redmen are facing the Tygers at the right time seeing as the Tygers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
