The Woodland Regional Hawks will take on the Derby Red Raiders at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Woodland Regional is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Crosby just ended the team's  four-game winning streak  on Tuesday. They came up short against  the Bulldogs, falling  77-53. The Hawks were down  66-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
 Meanwhile, Derby was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They were dealt  a  64-35 loss at the hands of O'Brien RVT. One positive for the Red Raiders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Derby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Woodland Regional, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-6.
