At the plate, Andrew Schemenaur was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Wyatt Foster was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Jay County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .617. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Jay County's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Southern Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
