The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. Their tough 73-49 loss to Mountlake Terrace might stick with them for a while. Edmonds-Woodway has struggled against Mountlake Terrace recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Edmonds-Woodway saw an underclassman step up: Dj Karl scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Williams, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Edmonds-Woodway's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Mountlake Terrace, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
Edmonds-Woodway will head out on the road to face off against Meadowdale at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountlake Terrace, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lynnwood at 7:15 p.m. Lynnwood is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
