Tri-Village took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Troy Christian Eagles 68-12. With the Patriots ahead 54-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Sagester threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes while Richards picked up 229 receiving yards and three TDs. Those 229 receiving yards gave Richards a new career-high. Staley Colston handled things on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Tri-Village, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Richards, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
