David Emanuel Academy was dealt a 56-14 defeat at the hands of Westminster Schools of Augusta. David Emanuel Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
Westminster Schools of Augusta got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Franks out in front who rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Franks was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Another player making a difference was Levi Murphey, who threw for 202 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes.
David Emanuel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
David Emanuel Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westminster Schools of Augusta will face off against Windsor Academy at 7:30 p.m. on November 18th. Windsor Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
