The Lincoln Lynx put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Seeley-Swan with points to spare, taking the game 51-37. For Lincoln, this counts as revenge for the 64-47 defeat Seeley-Swan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Brown, who scored 15 points along with six steals. Brown is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Roegun Dietz was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and six blocks.
Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Seeley-Swan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Lincoln is ranked 29th). Seeley-Swan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Drummond at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. One thing working in Drummond's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
