They enjoyed a cozy 53-36 win over Houston County on Friday. That looming 53-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Emmanuel Christian yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emmanuel Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Graysen Ellison, who scored 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. Logan McNiel was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.
Emmanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Houston County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian will take on Wicksburg at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houston County, they will head out on the road to face off against Samson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
