Tupelo has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Clinton Arrows at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tupelo will be strutting in after a victory while Clinton will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, Tupelo faced Germantown in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Tupelo enjoyed a cozy 56-42 win over Germantown.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Clinton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Germantown 37-33. Clinton has struggled against Germantown recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Tupelo pushed their record up to 10-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
Everything went Tupelo's way against Clinton in their previous meeting on January 5th as Tupelo made off with a 61-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tupelo since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
